The Musings of a Muddled Mind

Hi, I’m Heather, a retired bookkeeper who never liked math.  How did that happen?  Hey, it was a living and I loved my career at the car dealerships.

After 35 years in the car business I now have the time to pursue my passions—writing, art and chocolate!

The pursuit of art has been with me all my life, but writing took a back seat for all those years of work.  (See how the car theme zooms in?  Force of habit.)

Now my pen seems to move of its own volition and in my pages of scribbles, sometimes a story is born.  I am an author whocropped-lamb2.jpg writes in a humourous and lighthearted style.  Four of my short stories have been published in Memoirabilia magazine, designed and edited by my good friend and colleague, Viga Boland.

I’m brand new to the journey of blogging, but I invite you to jump into the passenger seat (again with the cars!) and come along for the ride.  Glad to have you on board!
